This week Harlem MC Jim Jones released his fifth studio album entitled CAPO. The album, which was released independently on E1, features a who's who of music with collaborations with Raekwon, Ashanti, Prodigy, Lloyd Banks, Snoop Dogg, Wyclef, Cam'ron, Wacka Flacka Flame, Lloyd and Dip Set. Jones' first single "Perfect Day" featuring **** Santana and Logic is sure to be a crossover hit, climbing up the charts last week with 108 spins as well as earning MTV2's Jam of the Week. Jones also lent a hand co-directing the video along side Zeus Morand which Jones says is dedicated to people suffering from Cancer as well as the soldiers fighting abroad.
"I lost my grandmother from cancer," Jim Jones explained. "I always wanted to dedicate something to her. The video is dedicated to anyone that's affected by cancer, or have cancer or families that's been affected by cancer. And for the soldiers that don't get to come home who have been at war for so long," said Jim Jones.
