HHG Stray News: Pitbull, Paul Wall & Baby Bash, 50 Cent's New Movie

Miami rap star Pitbull has settled a paternity lawsuit  with a former girlfriend over their daughter. According to reports Pitbull's ex, Barbara Alba, was seeking more than the $3,000 per-month that he was paying, because her Miami home had been targeted by burglars. Alba was seeking to move into a gated neighborhood for their child's safety.  Pitbull helped her resolve the issue amicably, although the terms of the deal were not disclosed. "Pitbull is a gentleman. This was resolved amicably," her attorney Jason Setchen said.

Rapper Paul Wall and Baby Bash were arrested over the weekend in El Paso, Texas. The pair were busted for possession of marijuana, according to reports. Before they were held briefly at the El Paso County jail, the rappers tweeted a picture of themselves in the back of the police car, as they were being arrested. Both men have since been released on $300 bond.
50 Cent new movie "All Things Fall Apart" has been acquired by Image Entertainment. 50 and company announced the deal on Friday (September 9th). The movie will hit theaters, digital and VOD nationwide in 2012. "50 lost so much weight I started calling him 25 Cent," Mario Van Peebles told Variety. "But what impressed me was his willingness to evolve past his rap persona and totally commit to his first dramatic lead without relying on guns." "All Things Fall Apart" is a drama based around a college football player (50 Cent) who realizes that he has a life-threatening illness shortly into his final season.
