Exclusive: Above The Law's Big Hutch Planning Two New Releases
(WWHH NEWS) Above The Law's frontman Big Hutch will wind down a busy year, with the release of two new albums before the end of 2011.
Big Hutch is preparing to release Only God Can Judge Me next week, while another album titled O.G. Since 1967 will drop this Summer.
The pioneering West coast rapper is releasing the albums under his West World Records imprint, in conjunction with Big Shot Music Group.
"I'm a blast from the past and an asset for the future in the world of Hip Hop," Big Hutch said. "Because it's me being myself in a new form and re-innovating my West World Records label."
Big Hutch and Above The Law dropped their debut, Dr. Dre-produced, Ruthless Records release, Living Like Hustlers, in 1990.
Since that release, Big Hutch's productions powered Ruthless Records to success after the break up of N.W.A., as Dr. Dre left to start Death Row Records.
Ironically, after producers Dr. Dre and Daz left Death Row Records, Big Hutch was then brought in to continue producing records for the label.
Big Hutch, who was sent to jail in 2004 for drug trafficking, is the nephew of the late legendary R&B musician/songwriter/producer, Willie Hutch.
