Amber Rose Lands Cover Of Urban Ink Mag

Model Amber Rose has landed the cover of Urban Ink magazine’s 22nd issue, where she shows off her various tattoos.

Amber Rose, who currently dates rapper Wiz Khalifa and is the former girlfriend of Kanye West, is featured in an 8-page spread in the magazine.

Additionally, Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka is featured in the latest issue of Urban Ink magazine, with a whopping 14-pages pages dedicated to the rap star and his crews’ tattoos.

The Hip-Hop influence continues with a feature on Shawty Lo, who was photographed coming fresh out of a meeting with new business partner 50 Cent.

Other people featured in the magazine include Tila Tequila, Colts defensive end Robert Mathis, singer Marz Lovejoy and others.

Sometimes I feel bad for Amber Rose. She seems like she really wants to do the right thing, but the wrong things keep happening. She's got to get herself out of this one though. I'm with Africa! For example, she made a statement about Ghana and that there was no middle class. Well, somebody got out there computer and wrote Amber a lil' letter. Like to hear it? Here it go:

“Did I hear Amber Rose say there are no middle class people in Ghana? And it is either people are extremely rich or extremely poor? I am a living testimony and a true proof that, she is totally uninformed about Ghanaians.

I am not extremely rich and neither am I extremely poor to be living in gutters or dirt as she puts it. I am a middle class Ghanaian and my family has always been middle class. There are several middle class Ghanaians out there living comfortably and not in dirt.

It is absurd enough to bring Amber Rose to Ghana to headline a concert as the only decent credibility this chick carries around is ‘ex-girlfriend of Kanye West’. I therefore expected that she should at least be coached if she is dumb enough not to know that we have middle class Ghanaians.

Not only did Amber Rose parade her ignorance as far as the economic strata of Ghanaians/Africans are concerned, she also presented her view as if there are no poor people in America where she comes from. There are people out there in America living in far disgusting conditions than those she spotted in Ghana.

If someone like Amber Rose wants to comment on Ghana, the best is for her to be informed on what she is saying…And why does she think Ghana is entirely Africa? Gosh! Africa is a continent, Ghana is a country and she just visited Ghana, we have 53 countries in Africa.”

Amber shot back apologetically:

“People have to understand that this is my first time in Africa. This is not my culture. I have never been here so if I said anything to hurt anyone’s feelings then I am really, really sorry. I saw that a lot of people on twitter said ‘don’t just show the poverty, show the rich people’. But for me, the rich people aren’t doing anything for the little kids and the people that are living in poverty so I don’t want to go hang out with the rich people. I wanted to see the kids in poverty. I grew up very poor. So I wanted to go see them, help them, talk to them and inspire them to let them know they could possibly be somebody great. They can be somebody great. So I want everyone in Ghana to know that I wasn’t just saying that ‘Ghana is a poor country and no one should ever come here.’ Anyone that I have spoken to about Ghana since I have been here, I have been saying that it’s such an amazing place. And I’m sorry for not posting pictures of rich people, but it just wasn’t for me to do.”

I think everyone in the States, they have a perception of Africa that it is all dirt roads, people are extremely poor. What I’ve noticed about Africa, since I’ve been here is, that people are either extremely rich or extremely poor. There is no middle class at all.”

What I found funny is Amber was out in Africa giving girls advice on how not to be a stripper. LOL!!

“I went & spoke 2 young girls at an Islamic school in Ghana today about Girl Power education & not falling into the wrong lifestyle as I did as a young girl. I made a lot of mistakes in my life & they’ve come back to haunt me, but now I have the opportunity 2 talk to girls all over the world & to let them know that they should chose a better way & not follow in my footsteps. These girls are Awesome & it was a true blessing meeting them today they have inspired me! #InspireGirls #GirlPower :-) ”

Amber Rose Responds To Twitter Backlash During Her Trip To Ghana

No matter what Amber Rose seems to do, it doesn't look like she'll ever be able to escape an online side-eye. This week Wiz Khalifa's wifey-in-training took a break from all the flashing lights to host Ghana's annual Vodaphone 020 Live concert. During her time there Amber made sure to visit poor villages and speak with school girls about the importance of education and good decision making.

Very socially responsible her, right? However, after posting pictures of herself posed in the more destitute areas of Ghana, tweeps lashed out on her questioning why she hadn't shown flicks of more affluent sectors. The buzzed beauty who was once homeless, explained that she didn't feel the need to highlight the wealthy.

"I saw that a lot of people on twitter said 'don't just show the poverty, show the rich people.' But for me, the rich people aren't doing anything for the little kids and the people that are living in poverty so I don't want to hang out with the rich people," she tweeted. "I wanted to see the kids in poverty. I grew up very poor. So I wanted to go see them, help them,talk to them and inspire them to let them know they could possibly be somebody great." 

Say what you want about her nude photos, but Amber made a great point about wanting to showcase the unfinished work we still have to do in Africa's countries. Go 'head Mrs. Khalifa. 

Nude Photos Of Amber Rose Leak Again, Wiz Khalifa Defends His Woman

Amber Rose was the victim of yet another nude photo leak this week, when a new set of photos leaked online.While it's unclear when these were taken, some appear to be a apart of the same set leaked by MediaTakeOut.com back in June, which were accompanied by rumors that she sent them to Nicki Minaj's rumored boyfriend.
This time, WorldStarHipHop got a a hold of the same ones, along with some news one ... 15 in total. (See them here NSFW )
The new set, all of Rose, seem to be taken by someone else. In each, she poses on a bed and/or couch, but they are clearly taken by a separate party, presumably her boyfriend Wiz Khalifa. When were taken, and if they were all taken by the rapper, is unknown.
Roseand Wiz had previously explained that the some of the leaked photos were taken from the former stipper's laptop by a personal assistant who no longer works for her.
Since the new photos surfaced this week, Rose has been quiet on her Twitter page (@DaRealAmberRose), where she usually will address gossip and rumors. However, since Thursday (September 15) -- when they were published -- she has been absent from the social network. Her man Wiz Khalifa, who has been saying that he plans to marry her, hasn't.  He discussed the nude photo leaks to Sister 2 Sister magazine recently, in which he defends his woman and even addresses her stripper background.

Wiz Khalifa Receives His Best Birthday Gift Ever...

According to MTV News, the three drug charges (one including drug trafficking) againstAmber Rose's PDA-pal, Wiz Khalifa, were all dropped yesterday due to a few errors during the time of arrest last November in Pill County, North Carolina. 

District Attorney Clark Everett Everett says the the trafficking charge was a blunder due to the amount of marijuana confiscated from the bus — slightly more than 2 ounces, according to Greenville, North Carolina's The Daily Reflector — didn't meet the 10-pound count required to charge Wiz.

At the time of his arrest, Khalifa paid off a hefty amount  to cover a $300,000 bond for himself and the nine other men arrested, something that was also recorded as a mistake, given the actual nature of the charges.

"The magistrate or someone at that office must have misread the statute. We discovered the error maybe two hours after [Khalifa] paid the bondsman's premium and left," says Everett. "Because of that, it was a high price he paid for bringing the drug onto campus. Had he remained to discover the error, he would not have been bonded so high. Probably $1,000."

Gee Wiz! 5 Reasons Wiz Khalifa Should Refuse To Record Music With Amber Rose

1. Amber Rose is not a singer. Or a rapper. Or, well, any type of musician.
Dude, you should know better than anyone what it takes to build yourself into a successful solo artist. You spent years toiling in obscurity and trying to find your sound in the studio before you finally hit your stride. You toured relentlessly to build a solid core fan base. You recorded dozens of mixtapes and hundreds of songs and performed at thousands of different concerts to make a name for yourself. So, you of all people should know all the hard work that goes into becoming an established musician. Do you really think Amber has the ambition and drive to do what you've done—or are you just giving her the easy way out here by attaching herself to your name? If you can honestly say she's as determined as you were when you first started, then by all means...

2. This whole "pretty face-turned-musician" thing just about never works.
So, Wiz, you've seen the new Kim Kardashian video for her song, "Jam (Turn It Up)," right? Um, okay. So, at the very least, we can agree that music isn't for everyone, huh? Just because people like to look at your pictures on the blogs doesn't necessarily mean that they want to hear you sing on a record. There's a looooooong history of socialites (hellooooo, Paris!), video vixens (Angel Lola Luv, anyone?), and other pretty faces who have tried to turn their good looks into a music career. But, unfortunately, that's not the way it works. And nothing makes us think that Amber's situation will turn out any differently.

Yo, Wiz, what's good with that Wiz/Big Sean/Curren$y project that we've heard so much about? Or that Adele collaboration you hinted at earlier this summer? Or your rumored project with fellow weed aficionado Snoop Dogg? Those are all collaborations you should be working on right now, not a project that just about no one in the world wants to hear. You've got plenty of other things on your plate right now, so why not try working on one of them now instead of working with Amber?

4. Wiz Khalifa would be better served working on a solid sophomore album than working on a vanity project like an album with Amber.

Last time we checked, Wiz, you had one major label album on your resume. We know you've got a diesel independent background—and we've got nothing but love for what you did as an independent artist—but as far as a major artist, you've still got some things to prove to the world. So, rather than risk putting out a subpar sophomore project, you should be spending all of your time right now working on that instead of working on a project with Amber. There will be plenty of time to take risks later. For now, you should focus on making this sophomore album even more successful than your first one.

5. If Wiz and Amber ever break up, the hip-hop community will never let him forget about the time he thought it was a wise decision to record music with her.

You can tattoo over her name, make excuses about why you chose to overlook her past, and grab yourself a new video vixen girlfriend if you ever break up with Amber, Wiz. But you cannot come around and delete the craptastic song or album that you created with her from all of our iTunes accounts. It'll be a blemish on your resume, a permanent mark on your record, and proof positive that you were, once upon a time, whipped beyond belief. So, you sure you still want to do this? Just. Say. NO!
