HHG QUICKIES

Amber Rose is reportedly going to start her own line of books to speak on her life, past and present. No word if Kanye West will be included in the expose.

People keep thinking Beyonce is faking her baby. I can't see how they can come to that conclusion. Still, their are reports of Bey walking around with a fat tummy.

Forbes named Diddy as the first Hip-Hop billionaire, but Baby has apparently stated that he's going to beat Diddy there.

Is Sly Stone homeless? Word has it, the legendary funk singer lives in a van.

Rumor has it Vesta may have suffered from some overdose, causing her to die at the age of 48.

People think that Odd Future really signed a rapper named Young N***a. That's just Tyler in disguise.

V Exclusive: Game Calls Tyler, The Creator the 'West Coast Eminem'

The West Coast's presence was rather quiet on the Billboard charts before Game released his fourth solo LP, The R.E.D. Album, this past August.
Selling approximately 98,000 units in its first week, Game's most recent project knocked Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch The Throne from the number-one spot in its third week on the charts.
He attributes his success to an unscathed work ethic that won’t let him get a minute’s rest.
“A couple of my homies went home, took showers, came back with new clothes and I was still up in the studio, recording [songs],” Game said that the recording process of The R.E.D. Album. “So that's my dedication. I think after selling damn near 10-million albums and having platinum albums, I can’t lose sight of the dedication to the craft and my fans.”
But with success comes drama for Compton’s new age menace. After throwing shots at The Throne, fans heard Game go off on a number of celebs -- including Lebron James and Rihanna -- on his Lil Wayne and Tyler, the Creator-assisted track “Martians vs. Goblins.”
“The reason I did that was because I was on a song with Tyler. When you’re on a song with Tyler you can say whatever the fuck you want,” he continued. “ I always say what I want but  I don't think I  go as far as Tyler…I think he’s like the west coast Eminem.”
Game says Tyler’s willingness to say whatever is on his mind reminds him the most of a young Slim Shady.
“He don't give a fuck. He just rhyme about whatever and it's like right out of an open book. I like him more than I like most new rappers. He don't really want anything other than just to rap.”
Game’s The R.E.D. Album can be purchased on iTunes now.

Pharrell Says He Was 'Mad As Sh**' At Missing Out On Signing Odd Future

Although Tyler The Creator and his Odd Future collective stunned everyone back in April by opting to stay independent despite virtually every major label knocking down their door.
However, there's one label that may have convinced the hipster kid from L.A. to sign on the dotted line ... that being Star Trak, especially because it's run by one of his idols: Pharrell Williams.
With Tyler by his side, Pharrell recently spoke to MTV2's SuckerFree about when he first heard about Odd Future ... and while he wanted to sign them, he found out he had been beaten to the punch.
"I was on my tour bus and my homeboy named Scott Vener was like 'You gotta hear these kids called Odd Future. It's this kid called Tyler The Creator. Their sh** is dope, you should sign them,'" Pharell recalled. "I was bumping their sh**, listening to their songs on Youtube. And then I found Chris Clancy. And by the time I found Chris, they were already talking about signing.
"I missed that boat, I was mad as sh**," he continued. "But I'm happy because Clancy's idea to have 'em be the youngest in charge, doing their own sh** -- all the stuff I always preach about -- he was very headstrong in making sure they did that."
In late April, Odd Future (OFWGKTA) announced that they had signed a distribution deal with RED Distribution/Sony for their own Odd Future Records imprint, through which they will retain creative control and decision making in all their projects.
Smart move...

Tyler The Creator Finally Meets Eminem In Ireland

Odd Future's Tyler The Creator is coming off one of the biggest weekends of his career, following his Best New Artist win at Sunday's (August 28) 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
But, he also recently checked off a goal on his bucket list: meeting Eminem.
The pair recently posed backstage at the Tennent's ViTal music festival in Ireland. For Tyler, it was a dream come true, because ... well, he grew up idolizing Slim Shady.
"F***kkkk O My Atheist God. Goal List Check: I Told Him Relapse Was One Of The Greatest Albums To Me," Tyler tweeted (@f***tyler).
While Tyler's excitement was definitely shown in the tweet, Eminem himself showed a little love to young Tyler and his OFWGKTA crew, telling MTV back in June that he loved what they're doing.
"I've heard enough to know that it feels like they're pushing boundaries and buttons, and that's definitely one of the things that I'm familiar with, especially when I first came out," he told MTV. "I love it, I love the fact that they're doing that. And the dudes can rhyme."

GLAAD Upset Over Tyler the Creator's VMA Win

Tyler the Creator's win at the MTV Video Music Awards is not sitting well with various gay and lesbian activist groups.
GLAAD issued a statement regarding Tyler the Creator's appearance at the MTV Music Awards, and his victory as Best New Artist.
The organization is upset over the Odd Future front man's lyrical content on his newest album Goblin.
“Rather than providing simply a larger platform, MTV and other networks should educate viewers about why anti-gay and misogynistic language has no place in the music industry today,” said Herndon Graddick, Senior Director of Programs at GLAAD. “Given Tyler’s history of such remarks, viewers and potential sponsors should refrain from honoring homophobia and in the future look to a more deserving artist.”
According to reports, Tyler the Creator and Odd Future's sophomore album contains over 213 anti-gay slurs.
